Apr 30,  · In my opinion, this album is great to find new artists and their music style, and even maybe useful for DJ Mixes, but since genres and styles of each tracklist order is quite different and it ruins the flow, but I'm not saying this is bad compilation. Included artists are very interesting and it's great album to find a new artist or style.

Hailu Mergia and the Walias Tche Belew (, Kaifa Records) "Some more deliciously grooved out Ethiopian beauty; here we get a nice soulful jazzercise from organist Hailu Mergia and his excellent balladolisgraveldefenderperilore.infoinfo more goodies I suggest a dig through the Éthiopiques series, so many remarkable jams! Now tune in and vibe sweet babies on these funky rhythms!"Author: Dead Dog.

Aug 08,  · This is one of the finest collections of guitar-driven drone pieces around and has to be one of the classic headphone albums ever made. At times "First Tone" recalls Eno's experimental wanderings in the mid- to lates, Flying Saucer Attack's edgy ambience (think Popol Vuh and the Feedback Song), jazz's predilection for expansive experimentation and the end of the production line 4/5(2).

Apr 04,  · Al Stewart Year Of The Cat (, RCA Victor / Janus Records) "Time for some hazy jane, Bowie-infused soft-rock.I've no idea whether Stewart was actually influenced by Bowie, this was his seventh album after all and, in truth, it doesn't sound very much like Bowie at all, but at times it reminds me of him so I said it.
